Using the Node Assignment Designer (Option 1)

The Node Assignment Designer is the primary and most visual method for assigning roles to Nodes within a Scenario. It is available directly from the Node View and is ideal for ensuring full coverage of territory roles, supporting positions, and management assignments.

Purpose

The Node Assignment Designer is optimized for:

• Creating and editing role assignments directly within a node
• Visually mapping roles to territories
• Managing forecast managers and supporting roles
• Reviewing inherited assignments across the node tree

Create a New Assignment

Select a Role

Open the right-hand role panel by clicking the blue arrow toggle if it is not already visible.

Available roles in this panel are pulled from those created earlier in the Scenario. For guidance on creating roles, refer to:
