Navigate back to the Scenario Dashboard screen using the Scenario navigation tabs. From here, click the “Territory Model” button. You will find yourself in the Territory Model interface.

The Territory Model is where you define the structure of your sales organization. Every company segments their go-to-market differently, whether by region, industry, customer tier, or something entirely custom.
BoogieBoard provides a flexible tool to model that structure using a hierarchy of nodes that mirrors how your business actually operates. This model becomes the foundation for building territories, assigning roles, and distributing accounts with clarity and fairness.

On the left side of the screen you will find the node navigator tree. It’s starts off empty but we will use tool to navigate to the different nodes of our tree, add, delete, or move nodes, and to view important node data.

Nodes are the generic term BoogieBoard uses for segments and territories.
If you picture your organization like a tree, with branches and leaves, each place the tree splits is a node. The high-level segments, the mid-level splits, even the final territories themselves are all nodes!
This lets you build exactly the structure you need, with as much depth (or simplicity) as your strategy requires.

Let’s start building our organization structure. Right-click on the root node of the tree and select “Add Child Node” from the menu. This will create a new node called Territory 1.

Click on this new node in the tree and it will bring up the Node Info screen. Let’s rename this node to “North America”. Changes to the nodes save automatically.

In the beginning of this guide we imported a spreadsheet of all accounts we intend to drop into territories — our “Universe of Accounts”. We need to bucket those accounts to left BoogieBoard know which accounts belong to which segments or business units. For example:
North America accounts are accounts where countries equal US, Mexico, or CA.
Enterprise accounts are accounts where revenue is greater than $1B

Near the bottom of the Node Info panel you will find the Segmentation Logic Builder. This tool is used to filter, or route, accounts into their final segments.
