Data Source Column Management View

Location: /a/<team_slug>/data-sources/<uid>/columns

BoogieBoard uses data tables extensively throughout the application to display account and territory data. These tables’ columns are customizable in a variety of ways to give the user a pleasant experience.

Column Management Actions

While there are options to configure columns at every table, no interface is as extensive as the Data Source Column Management View. Here you can:

1. Select from available columns which to view and hide by clicking the checkbox.
2. Reorder the columns by dragging and dropping using the drag handles.
3. Click the gear icon to access advanced settings.

Advanced Options

Inside the Advanced Options modal you will find:

1. Display Name - The customizable name you can give to the column that will be used throughout the app.
2. Field Name - A read-only field displaying the original source data column name.
3. Width - The width in pixels with which the column will always initialize. The user can adjust the size on the fly via the cell drag handles.
4. Data Type - The default data type for this column’s data. See the Data Types section above for more details.
