What is a Scenario?

A Scenario in BoogieBoard is a self-contained workspace where you can design and test territory plans without affecting your live data. Scenarios let you model “what-if” changes, collaborate with teammates, and compare different strategies before rolling them out.

You might model several scenarios per planning cycle. Once a scenario is finalized and approved, BoogieBoard will codify it as a “live” territory plan. If connected with a CRM, BoogieBoard can push the scenario into the CRM, updating Account Owners, Teams, and Territory object.

Create a Scenario

Beginning from the BoogieBoard home page, navigate to the side bar and select the choice for “Scenarios” near the top of the list. On the Scenarios page, click “New Scenario”.

Give your scenario a name. This name will be used across the application to identify the scenario. Select the Data Source from the list of data sources from the dropdown menu. Click the “Next” button.
