Why Use CSV?

The fastest and simplest way to ingest account data into BoogieBoard is via CSV import. This method is available to support users who may not be able to directly connect BoogieBoard with their CRM for a variety of reasons.

It also exists to support importing supplemental data from third parties for further enrichment.

Creating a CSV-Type Data Source

• Create a new Data Source.
• Select “CSV File” from the Data Source Type dropdown list.
• Give it a Name and Description.

You should see an upload area into which you can drop your CSV file.

CSV Requirements

At minimum, your account list CSV should contain the following fields.

Required: Account Name, Unique ID

Optional/Recommended: City, State, ZIP, Country, Parent ID, Existing Owner ID, Type

In case you drop an invalid file type, you will see a warning message. Simply click the red trashcan icon to delete the file and select a valid CSV file.
