Creating Your First Balance Goal

Step 1: Open the Goal Builder

1. Navigate to any node in your Territory Model
2. Click the "Balance Goals" tab in the node navigation
3. You'll see the two-column layout described above

Step 2: Create a New Goal

1. Click the "+ New Goal" button in the Goal Builder panel (top right)
2. A modal window opens with the goal configuration form

Step 3: Configure Your Goal

The goal form has several sections:

Basic Information

• Goal Name: Give it a descriptive name (e.g., "Balance by Revenue")
• Goal Type: Choose from Balance, Limit, Score, or View
• Metric: Select what you're balancing/limiting (Revenue, Account Count, etc.)

Advanced Options (varies by goal type)

For Balance Goals:

• Distribution Method: Equal, Proportional, etc.
