Glossary of BoogieBoard Terms
- Territory: A defined region or grouping of accounts owned by one or more reps.
- Account: A single customer or organization managed within your sales hierarchy.
- Account Family: A group of related accounts that roll up to a shared parent or ultimate entity.
- Node: A structural unit in BoogieBoard’s hierarchy representing a team, region, segment, or territory.
- Role: Defines ownership and participation within a territory or account team.
- Account Assignment: The connection between an account (or group) and the role responsible for it.
- Scenario: A workspace representing a full set of territories, assignments, and structure for planning.
- Collaborator: A team member invited to a specific node with permissions to view and contribute.
- Activity Feed: A live log of all changes, comments, and actions taken across your scenario.
- Balance Goal: A metric used to compare territories, such as account count, revenue, or industry mix.
- Balanced: When a territory’s metrics fall within the fair range defined by the scenario’s balance goals.
