Upon completing the Data Mapping steps, you will be directed to the Data Source Settings View.

Initializing the First Data Sync

To initialize the first Data Sync, click the pink/orange “Activate” button. This moves the Data Source from draft to active and triggers the full import of accounts.

Salesforce-Specific Settings Options

The Data Source Settings View has a few additional options that are specific to the Salesforce Data Type. The following extends the information found in the Settings View section of the Data Sources documentation.

Push Committed Node Assignments to Salesforce

This button updates the Salesforce Account Owner field and Territory Data for all accounts in nodes which status is “Committed”. More on Node statuses can be found in the Committing Nodes section of the documentation.

Refresh Data from Salesforce

This button forces a PARTIAL refresh of Salesforce data by comparing the Last Modified Date of the record to the Last Sync Date in BoogieBoard.

This mimics the behavior of BoogieBoard automated syncs to reduces the number of bulk transactions between BoogieBoard and the Salesforce API. Only records that have changed are imported.

View updated record information in the Data Sync History.

Full Sync from Salesforce

This button forces a FULL refresh of Salesforce data. All mapped objects from Salesforce will be re-synced regardless of Last Modified Date.

Full Syncs take longer and create more calls to the Salesforce Bulk API.
