Understanding the BoogieBoard Interface

BoogieBoard’s interface is divided into three key sections:

KPI Widgets (summary row), Dual Pivot Tables (Current vs. Future), and Table Controls (balancing tools).

1. KPI Widgets (Summary Row)

A set of interactive metric cards appear at the top of the view, summarizing key statistics for the active node or scenario.

Metric Description Icon Meaning
Optimization Score A percentage (0–100%) that measures how balanced the territories are according to your configured balance goals. 🏂 100% means perfectly balanced; lower scores indicate imbalance.
Total Accounts The total number of accounts within the current node or segment. 👥 Defines the size of the account pool being analyzed.
Assigned Accounts Number of accounts that have an assigned territory owner. Compare this to Total to identify unassigned accounts.
Locked Accounts Count of accounts marked as locked and excluded from balancing. 🔒 Locked records prevent reassignment during optimization.
Reps / Capacity Displays both the number of territory owners and total capacity utilization. ⚖️ Values above 100% indicate over-capacity; under 100% indicates available bandwidth.

2. Current State vs. Future State Pivot Tables

This is the core of the BoogieBoard interface. The tables provide a direct, visual comparison of your current and proposed territory alignment.

Table Description Purpose
Current State Displays how accounts and metrics are distributed across territories before balancing. Establishes your baseline — the “as-is” state.
Future State Updates dynamically as you apply balance goals or run the Auto-Balance process. Displays your proposed distribution — the “to-be” state.
